UPDATE:
Over the past several years, EJMP has experienced a steady increase in requests for general operating support. Due to this growth, EJMP will be exercising greater scrutiny when reviewing applications for general operating grants. Moving forward, these requests will be considered for approval only when a clear and compelling justification is provided. Applicants must fully explain why general operating support is essential to their organization’s mission and impact, and specifically how the grant will be used in alignment with the EJMP mission.
EJMP respectfully requests that all grant proposals be submitted as a single PDF file containing all required information and written in a clear, concise manner.
Submitting a Grant Request:
- Grant requests are accepted annually between January 1st and March 31st.
- EJMP generally restricts grants to one per calendar year to any single entity. EJMP typically does not contribute to religious institutions or houses of worship, “brick and mortar” building campaigns, nor is it positioned to provide grants to individuals regardless of the need or mission.
- If an organization was previously awarded an EJMP grant, then an end-of-year report stating how any prior year’s EJMP funds were allocated must also be submitted prior to any new grant requests being submitted.
- Grant recipient organizations agree to comply with EJMP grant agreements and all applicable state and federal laws at all times. EJMP may initiate follow-up site visits and communications to ensure grants are specifically applied per written agreement between EJMP and recipient organizations. Any grants issued by EJMP are not intended as indicators or guarantees of ongoing or future support.
